The executive committee of the forum (the chairman is Mr. Yoshio Tateishi who is the Vice-chairman of the Kyoto chamber of commerce and industry) will sponsor the International KEITAI Forum from March 26th(tues.) to 28th(thurs.) in 2002.
This forum intends to promote the development of the industry related with KEITAI business and to improve the quality of life in this IT age.
KEITAI is strongly expected to lead the development of industries in the 21st century. Various events, consisting of symposiums, company exhibitions, and competitions will take place during the forum to focus on Keitai-related new business, technology, culture, lifestyle, entertainment and services.
Kyoto, the location of many excellent universities and R and D institutions, is developing into an ideal place, mainly the southern part, where a great number of KEITAI-related companies are gathered. Therefore this forum will provide good business opportunities to all the participants.

KEITAI is a general term for the hardware, software and services related with the mobile media including the various mobile terminal units, Internet and communication services. |
